Once you understand the theory we can always do a one on one class where you can practice the stitching process later on.

At the bootcamp we’ll demonstrate this process.
#AUTOPANO GIGA GRAPHICS CARD COMPATIBILITY SOFTWARE#
The software we use for stitching is called Kolor Autopano Video and to fix stitching issues we’ll be using Kolor Autopano Giga. We know there are maybe three production shops with 360 experience in Philly at the moment, so you would be one of a few if you started to specialize and the bootcamp (we think) is the best step in that direction. A simple project with a five or more days of shooting and stitching can start at $6,000 and go up from there. We also typically have a production assistant as well for $250/day. We at Videosmith currently charge $550/day for the rig, $200 for the computer setup, $500 for the operator/editor. Matt Sheils has been working with clients on 360VR productions for a while now and, if enough students have this question, he can speak to that in the class. What can I expect to charge a client for this kind of work? If you’d like to work on your 360 portfolio, we recommend spending some time with Hillary after the course and we can certainly help point you in the right direction. Because we don’t have work stations for everyone, you’ll be walked through the process in a group, and you are welcome to do as you please with whatever we put together. You’ll walk away with something we can dropbox you or put on a thumb drive. Will I make something in the class that I can have as a portfolio item? Hillary is becoming a master at 360 and she can go on the job, watch, and can help walk you through your first independent project or you can go ahead and hire us to shoot and/or for the post production stitching process. If you don’t feel comfortable after the workshop, or if it’s your first time out on your own, we recommend you get production service support or a day of mentorship. You can certainly rent our rig without production support. To check the status of existing tickets, please login.

After the course, will I still need Videosmith production services or support? Address: 17358 Railroad Street City of Industry, CA 91748. The shooting will be very “hands on” but as the stitching is a complex process, we’ll be walking you through the post production aspect, and if you’re new to 360, one day of training isn’t enough for stitching proficiency.

You’ll learn start to finish the process of making your own 360VR videos. Frequently Asked Questions Will I be able to make my own video by the end start to finish?
